Warsaw (Poland, Europe)
March 17-18, 2018. Two travelers, 2 days trip

March 17 Saturday, 2018

  • I traveled by car: 11:00 am I left Kaunas – >> towards Warsaw
  • Accommodation: 4:00 pm I stayed at ‘Best Western Hotel’ [EUR 15 x 1 pers., double room]
  • I traveling by car: 5:00 pm I parked the car at parking lot for free of charge (pay attention to signs, free parking is not everywhere)
  • I traveled on foot – I visited objects:
  • Warsaw old Town
  • Sigismund Column
  • Cathedral
  • Presidential Palace (I have seen the object from outside)
  • Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Grave Warsaw
  • Saxon Park – this park in the very center of Warsaw
  • I traveled by car: back to the hotel

March 18 Sunday, 2018

  • I traveled by car: I parked the car free of charge in the city car park (pay attention to signs, free parking not everywhere) and at 11:00 am I ordered a breakfast at ‘PizzaHut’ pizzeria, located in the Old Town of Warsaw at 11:00 am
  • Traveled on foot – I visited objects:
  • Holy Cross Church
  • Palace of Culture and Science – beautiful building and skyscrapers nearby
  • Taras Widokowy (I have seen the object from outside)
  • 5:00 pm Copernicus Science Center – Science Museum. I bought the tickets at 2 pm, but only at 5 pm was free time to enter [EUR 7.70 x 1 pers.]. Here was alot of visitors, the museum is fun, interactive. Here you will find out what you did not know about science, much to learn. I recommend to visit this museum for families
  • I traveled by car: 7:00 pm towards Kaunas —-> March 19 Monday, 2018 I returned to Kaunas

My Travel Costs:

  • Accommodation = EUR 15 x 1 pers. (1 night, ‘Best Western Hotel’)
  • Museum ticket = EUR 7.70 x 1 pers. (‘Copernicus Science Center’)
  • Food costs = EUR 27.30 x 1 pers.

Total = EUR 50

TRIPTIP - travel tips:

* Was cold weather
in March especially
in the evenings.

* I booked more
expensive, better hotel,
however he did not match
photos I found online.
